Some weddings have it all: location, tradition, family and an overwhelming sense of joy. This couldn’t have been more true for Yelena and Michael’s big day! Every element of the wedding was thought out with great care and consideration, and I think the result exceeded everyone’s expectations (including mine
). Since Michael is Jewish, and Yelena is Ukrainian, they blended many traditions from both sides to create a truly unique “Jewkrainain” wedding. Almost every detail was handmade from the Chuppah, which was painted by Michael’s mother, to the embroidered Rushnky (a Ukrainian towel used during the ceremony), and delicious desserts!
With the stunning background of the Malibou Lake Mountain Club, Yelena and Michael seemed to just float through their wedding day, completely surrounded by love and support! These two are such a perfect match, and it’s clear how much they mean to one another. Yelena and Michael’s families made me feel right at home, and it was such an honor to be a part of their wedding!
