Inspired by: Pinterest

Although I have a few awesome shoots just waiting to be blogged, I had to take a quick detour to share with you my latest obsession… Pinterest! If you spend even a small amount of time browsing the Internet for inspiration, then you’ll love this site! At it’s core Pinterest is a virtual pinboard, where you can tag all your favorite finds, create collections, and “follow” boards created by others.

The especially helpful part is that when you “pin” a photograph from a website, it automatically inserts the url, so you can remember where the photo came from (this is very handy with DIY projects and inspiration). Be warned it’s an EXTREMELY addicting website, but an awesome way to organize all your Internet finds into one easy to use location.

The uses are endless, but I think brides who follow wedding blogs for inspiration will find it a complete life saver! Now you can create inspiration boards for your wedding flowers, dress, invitations, favors, you name it… how cool is that?!?

With the social media aspect you can “follow” other boards and repin photos that you want to add to your own collections. I love seeing what my favorite blogs are pinning, and it’s a great way to share some serious eye candy!
